Stop someone from monitoring computer?
Well it finally happened….and i never thought it would be me. I downloaded a game torrent from BTJunkie and downloaded it through BitComet. When I checked in the morning, my service provider left me a note telling me to delete the file and I would get my service back. A slap on the wrist later, I was back up and running. NOW, my question… how do I prevent this in the future? How can I stop others from monitoring my computer and the files I download?
And please….those of you who want to give me a lecture about piracy and bla bla bla, SAVE IT! I’ve heard it before and guess what? I wont stop downloading. If you want to lecture me, send me a myspace comment, not a yahoo answer. Legit answers only!

I’m not gonna lecture you about Bittorent, but i would ask you to stop using BTJunkie and BitComet. They are really risky to use. I’ve had viruses downloaded from there. Instead, use the Pirate Bay or something else.
Now, you can’t stop your Internet Service Provider from monitoring you. Its impossible. They control your internet. Whatever you do on the internet goes through their databases and computers before entering your modem and computer.
Anyways, its odd. I’ve downloaded game torrents and such before and i’ve never had dat happen to me…
