Writers–Any Good Places to Freelance Besides Demand Studios (That Pay up-front)?
I just joined Demand Studios, and my first article got rejected. They want a whole rewrite. The article was about “Tools Registered Nurses Use.”
The CE said my article contained “general tools” that can be found in any first aid kit. They said I needed to talk about tools only a Registered Nurse can use because they have a license to do so.
They thought an IV bag, stethoscope, Sphygmomanometer, Bandages, Syringe, & Thermometer weren’t good enough in my 500 word article.
My wife is a registered nurse and runs a blog. She said that is all she uses on the job. So how dare this person tell me nurses don’t use that, when I know those are the main tools they use. Sure, doctors and specialized people (like Xray techs) use fancy machines. But RN’s do NOT!
When I asked this question on here, guess what the RN’s said? Exactly what my wife told me.
Anyway, end of rant. Are there any sites at all that pay up-front for completed articles?
I know of one that pays freelancers by the hour. If you work an hour you get paid for that hour guaranteed. There are tons of different jobs you can do on this site so it’s great for any skills you may have. There are a lot of article writing jobs on there I noticed. I hope this helps you!
