Can the Haier HL22FW1 – 22″ LCD TV connect to my iMac and serve as a dual display?
It says that it has a “PC input”, but I don’t know if that will mean that it can work with my mac. Anyone out there know? Thanks : )
Yes, that LCD TV should work with your iMac.
The best way to connect your iMac to that LCD TV is through HDMI. (I checked the specs and the HL22FW1 has one HDMI port).
For that you will need an adapter, which one depends on which iMac you have.
If you have the older iMac with a miniDVI port, then you need to buy a miniDVI-to-DVI adapter, and a DVI-to-HDMI cable.
If you have the newer iMac with a miniDisplayPort, then you need to buy a miniDisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter and a standard HDMI cable.
