What job would be enough to live on my own?
I am 21.. in college and it is going nowhere. Tomorrow I am talking to a EMS Academy Instructor and hopefully I can register to begin EMT-B classes. However, if this does not work out I am considering working at a nursing home. I want to make enough so I can move out.. my home life is h@#$ and I cant focus on anything. Living in a trailer with 8 people is not helpful to me. I just want to be on my own.. what jobs could I apply for? I do have a Associates in Arts degree.. what about a nursing home.. how would I go about that?
Continue with college you will regret it if you dont. take classes part time and work at the nursing home full time. Consider renting a room or getting a room mate to start off for moving out you will need furniture, dishes, etc….it cost me over 2k when I moved out of my parents house 14years ago. living on your own is Hard but i agree you need to get out if your living situation is horrible . take a job that can pay your bills and buy yu food. continue school once you move out I bet school will be better. Talk to a counselor’s and see what your interested in to make it work. good luck with everything.
