A few months ago, I bought myself a WrisTech Blood Pressure Monitor for my own personal use. My doctor told my I was suffering from pre-hypertension and I needed to know how to lower blood pressure quickly. The only way I could do that is by taking my own readings everyday at home.
I crossed the manual monitors off my list, since I felt they would be too complicated for me to use. I found the Wristech Blood Pressure monitor to be relatively simple to use, with it fully automatic wrist cuff, large digital readouts, and built-in log. I could take my systolic and diastolic counts and pulse rates at the same time, in less than a minute. I need that at the start of my very busy day.
Of course I read the reviews before I decided to plunk down my money. I expected a few negative comments but there were so many more people satisfied with the product that I thought there wouldn’t be much to lose. I especially liked it that people were saying it gave accurate results when properly used. That’s to be expected, right? It’s a machine, after all. Instructions should be followed to the letter and the machine has to be set up properly. As they say, “garbage in, garbage out.”
I like the features in it, too. I always hate it when a machine just dies on you, so the battery power indicator on the WrisTech blood pressure monitor was a plus for me. And since I don’t like complications, I really appreciate the error sign that tells me I’ve put it on wrong. I don’t want to fiddle with anything when I’ve got a tight schedule in the mornings! When the blinking heart shows up on its screen, I know I’ve gotten it right and it should start immediately.
I enjoy the fact that it keeps a record for a month for me, unfortunately, the WrisTech blood pressure monitor can’t sync with my computer, but it’s easy enough to transfer the readings at the end of the month and send them to my doctor through email. Clearing the record is simple, too, I just remove the batteries and put them back in. The automatic off function is great, too in case I don’t remember to shut it off, as has happened already more than once.
Considering the really affordable price, I don’t regret buying my WrisTech blood pressure monitor at all. My doctor is happy with the way it’s working, and that’s the best part for me. I’d recommend the WrisTech blood pressure monitor to anyone who asks my opinion.
