Help with RHPS Magenta costume….!?
So, I’m putting together a costume for Magenta from Rocky Horror, and I need a little help. I’m doing her maid’s dress, and I was thinking of buying a nurses dress and dying it black, then adding the white cuffs to the sleeves and such. I’m open to any other ideas for the dress, so if you can help there, please do. But it has to butten down the front, and be about knee length.
What I really need help with is finding her apron. It’s got lace, ties around her waist, but also had straps that go over her shoulders and attach at the back of her skirt, like suspenders. Does anyone know where I can find an apron like that? I’d rather not have to make one, I’m really not that experienced with sewing and such.
Any other ideas are more than welcome, thanks in advace for the help!
