I was offered a job which is very incomplete … Herbalife …. well …?
They gave this big "exciting", "motivation" conference where everyone was talking about how successful they are, how much money they make, how much fun it is, and the people sitting in the chairs looked like if they were all in it, clapping, raising their hands when a speaker asked a question, laughing too, so really weirded me out because if it was a legitimate job, would not have to "sell" me right? They could only interview and hire me or not. Well, even though they do not say that at that moment, I am watching a MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) business, offering Herbalife products as well as preparation of health and "Challenges of Weight Loss for customers. Anyway I do not know if this is a scam or a waste of my time, what do you think?
As far as I know Herbalife is a legitimate business but is direct sales. I do not know much about them beyond the name. Just because a company is multi-level does not necessarily mean the company is not legitimate. The difference in a legitimate MLM company, and one that is not often comes down to if they sell a product or simply getting people in the organization to make money.
