Health And Wellness Schools

Do all nutrition schools/majors require classes in chemistry?

I am really bad at chemistry and biology. I love health/wellness and studying nutrition though. I was thinking of majoring in nutrition but all the schools I have looked at require a lot of chemistry classes. Are there any schools that are more technical or that are more related to the nutrition aspect? Are there any other fields of study or jobs that nutrition is intergrated or is a big part of? Any help is greatly appreciated.

They should, and if you skip out on learning this stuff, you will be short-changing your education. In fact, nutritionists need to know a lot more than just how to get people to eat healthy or lose weight. They have to provide eating programs for diabetics, cancer patients, patients with heart problems, food allergies/sensitivities and much more.

Don’t worry, I’ve taken over 25 credits in chemistry to get a biology degree, and it’s no sweat. It seems daunting at first, but just improve your study habits, get in a study group, view videos on you tube, research on the web, and you will be perfectly fine. There is no shortage of information. All it takes is a little commitment, but the investment will be worth it because nutritionists get paid very well.
