I want to move to an island but not sure which.?
I will graduate from college in May 2011 with a degree in Health Promotion (exercise and welfare) and want to go to an island. I would like to pass a spoken English where I can get a steady job and is quite affordable. I realize certain things on the islands, such as grocery stores are going to be a little more expensive, but I want to live in a place where there is ridiculous ….. as a major tourist destination. I do not need a house big, something small with plain water is all you need. I want to move somewhere inviting, where locals accept me and are friendly. I do not need a shopping center or expensive clothes but somewhere where there is no nearby health care. I've been doing some research, but I'm just overwhelmed by everything. Moving to an island has been the dream of my life … although I had hoped to also be a helicopter pilot …. I'll settle for an island. Please help me!
To be honest, a degree in Promotion "Exercise for Health and Welfare" sounds like it would suit the job in big cities or towns within a institution. Being a helicopter pilot is a totally different field! There are other English speaking places isolated, as the cities of Australia or the islands of Scotland. You probably would be more welcome in these isolated communities as a helicopter pilot health guru!
