Stop! Before taking the shovel before planting a single herb. Stop to consider why you want an herb garden. What are your intentions to plant these wonderful plants?
Are you planning to use both fresh and dried for culinary purposes – to add to your meals to enhance the flavors? Are you planning on making flavored oils and vinegars to introduce friends and family as gifts (while hiding a pair for yourself?)
Or have you discovered the many natural health benefits of herbs and would like to grow to prepare your own teas, herbal teas, pastas to use to help their health less important?
Oh, yeah, what! First, planting may plant completely different if your goal is to embolden dishes to train health.

culinary herbs – sometimes called sweet herbs – are plants, whether annual, biennial or perennial, tender roots or ripe seeds. They also have an aromatic flavor (yes, they smell darned good!) And have a great taste.
Medicinal herbs are grown with the intention of eventual use to address specific health conditions, from serious heart problems or pain related of arthritis to the loss of power or memory.
Ornamental grasses. Just as the name suggests, these herbs are grown with the pure intention to enjoy. They are prized for their beauty.
Then there are the herbs that are grown to enjoy a great cup of tea. And believe it or not, there are excellent, an imaginative design gardens, grown for this purpose.
Herbs grow ultimately depend on large part, what kind of herbs you want.
