Can an employee to increase their health insurance deductible?
and not informing the employees .. last year deductible is $ 1,000 – I just noticed this statemet year profit was $ 7,500 .. I found out second hand that we are also playing all our insurance, but did not know who touched the increased deductible … is that we'll never know legal employees know?
Sure, the company can change the deductible, but employees must be notified. I'm not aware of any New York law that says employees must be notified, but I've never seen an employer who told his employees for a change. They do not want to cause a revolt. Good luck
