Can anyone please help me with an important DRUG TEST question?
Hi everybody, I recently took a FINGERNAIL drug detection test. They took all of my fingernail clippings from all of my fingers. My hair was too short so they said they had to use my fingernails. I have been clean now for 1 year, 5months, and a couple days. What are the chances of me testing positive? My company recently started doing random drug tests on its employees. Sucks huh? But anyway, your HONEST and KNOWLEDGEABLE answers will be greatly appreciated. Once again, THANKS IN ADVANCE!
It depends on how far the tester will go back. Usually, if it’s for a job, they only go back – to up a year usually. You should be fine. Since they just started it, they probably aren’t looking that far…possibley 6 months at the most. Myself, I’ve been there & done that & I would be more worried about giving a hair sample if I were you…than a nail sample. With the hair, they can go back up to 5 yrs.
