Blood Pressure Unit

Blood Pressure Unit
Is blood pressure the same as blood pulse? What are the units of measure for blood pulse/blood pressure?

BP and your Pulse are two different thing, but both measure the function of the heart.

The pulse measure the amount of time you heart contracts or beats. This is measured by beats per minutes, and is also known as your heart rate.

The blood pressure is measured by mm of Hg (millimeters of mercury)
It is measured by two values.
The top number is known as the systolic: the force of the blood in your arterial system when the ventricles contract.
The bottom number is the diastolic: the pressure in your arteries when there is no pressure from the ventricle, also known as when the ventricle relaxes, this is giving time for the ventricles to fill up with blood before the push again.
