Why is it that sometimes blood pressure reads higher when tested on an arm rather than a leg?
I have an electronic portable blood pressure taking device and my blood pressure measures like 130ish/160ish when I use it on my wrist, but it reads 114/85 when i test my bp on my leg.
the pressure in the leg has to work more to get the blood back to the upper part of the body so the pressure will show a lower reading.
